Fostering transparency and facilitating easy access to public information within the Faculty of Vocational Studies UNY, in compliance with the Public Information Openness Law.

According to Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Openness, Chapter I, General Provisions, Article 1, a Public Body is defined as an executive, legislative, judicial institution, or any other body whose main functions and duties relate to state administration. In accordance with this regulation, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta operates as a Public Body mandated to uphold the principles of Law No. 14 of 2008.

As a Public Body, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta is obligated to provide, furnish, and publish accurate, truthful, and non-misleading public information. Additionally, UNY is committed to building and developing an information and documentation system to manage public information effectively and efficiently for seamless access.

To fulfill this commitment, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has officially appointed the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) through a Rector’s Decree. The PPID officer is responsible for the storage, documentation, provision, and service of public information.

Legal & Operational Foundation

Within the structure of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology's PPID, PPID UNY serves as an Executive PPID. The establishment of PPID UNY is anchored in Rector's Decree No. 2.4/UN34/V/2021 dated May 4, 2021.
