Kulon Progo, July 30, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Studies of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), through the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), organized the Implementation of the Alumni Database Strengthening Strategy on Thursday (30/7) in Room 407, 4th Floor of the Academic Services Building, UNY Faculty of Vocational Studies Kulon Progo Campus. This activity is one of the faculty's strategic efforts to strengthen alumni database management as part of improving the quality of education, developing alumni networks, and supporting various academic and institutional needs.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Studies, the faculty leadership ranks, the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, and the drafting team consisting of lecturers from various study programs within the UNY Faculty of Vocational Studies. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Vocational Studies as a coordination forum for the preparation and implementation of an integrated alumni database strengthening strategy.

Through this activity, participants discussed more systematic alumni data management strategies, periodic data update mechanisms, and the strengthening of synergy among study programs to support the provision of accurate, up-to-date, and sustainable alumni data. The strengthening of the alumni database is expected to support the implementation of tracer studies, fulfillment of accreditation requirements, evaluation of graduates, and the formulation of development policies for the UNY Faculty of Vocational Studies.

Through this forum, the UNY Faculty of Vocational Studies encourages all study programs to be increasingly active in conducting integrated data collection, updating, and management of alumni information. A complete and integrated alumni database is expected to strengthen the relationship between the faculty and its alumni, support the improvement of service quality to graduates, and serve as a valuable source of information for institutional development.

The expected outcomes of this activity include the formulation of a strategy for implementing the strengthening of the alumni database, increased coordination among units in managing alumni data, and the realization of a more effective and sustainable alumni data collection system. With the implementation of this activity, the UNY Faculty of Vocational Studies reaffirms its commitment to continuously improve systematic and accurate alumni data governance oriented toward enhancing the quality of education and strengthening alumni networks.
