Along with the strengthening and consolidation of the bachelor's level, in 2007 the D2 PGSD Study Program was officially discontinued, in line with the policy direction of study program development and structuring of the higher education system.

The D2 PGSD Physical Education Program in the Faculty of Sports Sciences (FIK) was subsequently developed by replacing it with the S1 PGSD Physical Education Study Program. This change was made as part of the effort to improve academic qualifications and adapt to higher education policies.
In addition, to provide opportunities for graduates of the D2 PGSD Physical Education Program who wish to continue their education to the bachelor's degree level, the Continuing Study Program (PKS) for S1 Physical Education was also opened as a structured and continuous advanced pathway.
